RATES - Soldier Meadows Ranch and Lodge

Lodging: Our main Lodge is comfortable and fitting for the area. It contains 6 private rooms with Queen sized beds and 4 private rooms with Twin sized Bunk beds. We have two Suites with living room, kitchen, bedroom with Queen sized bed and private bathroom. For those a bit more adventurous, we have a rustic cozy bunkhouse with wood stove for heat and two twin sized bunk beds to sleep up to four people. The main Lodge contains our Kitchen/Dining room, common area/living room with a large stone fireplace, a small gift shop and Men and Ladies restroom facilities.

Lodging at Soldier Meadows Ranch  Children under 12 staying in same room with an adult are free.  Our current Lodge room prices effective July 1, 2008 are: 

Visiting Cowboy Bunkhouse (Sleeps 4 persons)
$40.00 per person nightly - sheets furnished, you make the bed or bring your sleeping bag/bedroll.

Bunk Bed Rooms in the Lodge - 4 Rooms – each room sleeps 2 persons
$60.00 per person nightly or if double occupancy 2 or more nights $100.00 nightly for two persons. 

Queen Rooms in the Lodge – 6 Rooms – each room sleeps 2 persons
$70.00 per person nightly or if double occupancy, 2 or more nights $120.00 nightly for two persons.

Suites – 2 Suites – each suite sleeps 3 or more persons
$175.00 per night single or double occupancy - Requires a 2 night minimum
Additional occupants are $30 each – 2 children under 12 are free
No other discounts are available on suites.

Children Under 12 staying in separate rooms are Per Child $45 in Queen Rooms, $40 in Bunk Bed Rooms and $30 in the Bunkhouse per night.

MEALS: Enjoy our cookhouse dining which features homemade, old fashioned ranch grub that never goes out of style. Coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, iced tea, fruit punch, and lemonade all made with our wonderful natural “Ranch House Spring” water are always available. Guests dine together with the crew in our cookhouse dining room. We use Ranch grown and local producers whenever we can and will eventually produce most ourselves. We use only quality meats and produce and the menu is different each day but is always delicious and filling too. Dinner includes home made deserts that are always a treat.

We serve 2 delicious meals each day for your convenience. We can also fix a sack lunch for you but we need prior notice to do so.  We are a family friendly place and as such we offer $3.00 discount on Breakfast and Lunch and $5.00 on Dinner for all children who are under 12 years of age.  Our current meal prices effective July 1, 2008 are as follows: 

Ranch Guest’s Meals
$13 Breakfast is served between 7:00A.M and 8:00A.M. Every Day.
$13 Sack lunch (sandwich, chips, seasonal fruit) can be made with prior notice.
$28 Dinner is served between 6:00P.M. and 7:30 P.M. Every Day.

Meals for visitors not staying here at the Ranch
$15 Breakfast, $15 Sack Lunch, $33 Dinner

Deposits: 50% payment upon confirmation. Balance due upon arrival.

Cancellation: Cancellations must be received a minimum of 40 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. If you cancel more than 40 days prior to scheduled arrival date, we will refund 50% of your Deposit , otherwise Deposits are Non Refundable.

Adult Beverages: We have chosen to not have a liquor license as such, bring your own adult beverages. No corkage or other fees are charged for your adult beverages. 

MISCELLANEOUS

Camping  Tent camping is $12.00 per tent nightly or $75 per week. 
RV space is $15.00 per vehicle nightly or $90 per week.

Transportation Ground Transportation from Reno/Tahoe International Airport may be arranged for you but, we recommend renting or bringing a capable four wheel drive vehicle , ATV, dual sport or other Motorcycle for use in exploring the many wonderful places at the Ranch. There are something in the neighborhood of 1,000 miles of dirt roads and trails to enjoy.

Hot Springs  No Charge for Hot Spring use by Lodge guests. Campers, RVers and other visitors $10 per day

Ice   5lb bag $5.00 - 10lb bag $8.00

Drinks  No charge for our Lodge, Suites and Bunkhouse Guests. For Others, Lemonade or Fruit Punch is $1.00 - Coffee/hot chocolate $1.00  - Tea (cold or hot)  $1.00

Dogs  $20 each for the length of your stay. Please pick up after them as a courtesy to all of us…you’re your dog must be controlled and well behaved. Thank you for these courtesies.

Shower $10.00 each person each shower.

Parking  Unoccupied Vehicle or unoccupied RV Parking $5.00 per day first 10 days, $10 per day thereafter.

DIRECTIONS  Fly or Drive to Reno, Nevada.  Commercial flights are readily available in to Reno Tahoe International Airport. Private Planes may land at the Soldier Meadows 1 airstrip.

From Reno drive on I-80 East about 40 minutes and take the Wadsworth-South Fernley Exit. At the Stop sign Turn Left. Continue Westerly about 5 minutes and turn Right on to Nevada State Highway 447. Follow 447 through the Indian Village at Nixon, the US Gypsum town of Empire (Gasoline Available), and through the town of Gerlach (Diesel and Gasoline Available). Be sure to top off your fuel at Empire or Gerlach. Just as you leave Gerlach, at the Y bear to the Right on to Nevada State Highway 34 (along the Black Rock Desert) for approximately 12 miles. Turn Right on to Soldier Meadows Road (at the Soldier Meadows Ranch and Lodge Sign) . Enjoy the many beautiful views and follow Soldier Meadows Road for approximately 50 Miles and then turn Right in through the Tall White Soldier Meadows Ranch Gate. Continue up the driveway passing the Airstrip towards the Big Shade Trees.
